A Great Example of Focus and Positivity: Lance Womach

Today I had the pleasure of getting to know a Network Marketing leader named Lance Womach. Lance shared a little of his background and how he had worked as Marketing Director for one of the network marketing industry leaders and a few years ago, he became involved too.

Some of the tips from today's call are as follows:
1. Understand the power of a greeting card and the ability to truly appreciate someone else.

2. Lance has built a large warm market of professional people and he simply shared this with them by asking them, "Hey, if I send you something in the mail, will you call me as soon as you get it?" Then he sent them a heartfelt card with expectation that they would love it just as much as  he did. He was right!

3. We discussed the network marketing industry as a business model and sometimes there are ups and downs, people quit and other times things are totally working right. Lance's advice: Don't take it personal.

The lessons Lance has learned in his last few year were:
a) Focus on the basics
b) Lead by example
c) Work on your own personal growth
d) Have patience
e) Be consistent
f) Have a great attitude!

Listen to this one hour call and hear what advice Lance learned from Todd Falcone, and they reason WHY Lance builds a network marketing business. You will be inspired!

New Way To Stay In Touch and WOW Your Clients with Executive Amber Lampe

AMBER LAMPE is a mom of 3, a wife to Chuck, a full time morgtage consultant and a leader in network marketing.

Amber Lampe was seeking a direction as a burnt out college student who was not sure what she wanted to do 15-years ago. She got involved in the mortgage business and is still there today.  However she was invited to a networking event through her local Chamber of Commerce in 2008. Upon hearing this new way to stay in touch, Amber signed up on the spot. She started sharing our system because she was excited about it.

Amber shares her story of how she and her husband Chuck advanced through the ranks of Manager, Senior Manager and to their new promotion of Executive.   Amber shares how they always earn incentive trips! Learn how you can earn trips to exotic places with amazing people too.

Amber shares how the process of duplication has worked for them as well. She shares how her family has joined her in the business too.

Amber talks about the "professional network marketer" mindset and some tools/books to listen to such as these favorites:

  • Promptings
  • Beach Money
  • The Business of the 21st Century
  • 45 Second Presentation
  • Eric Worre Go Pro Video Series
She shares the idea that "it is NOT your job to motivate your team" and how it is more like a chess game where you move, they move, you move, etc.

Amber suggests you ALWAYS keep recruiting, send heart felt cards and find your few builders.Give your attention where it is deserved!

She poses a great question, "Would you hire you if you were the CEO?"

Amber closes with how network marketing has allowed her to positively impact her children and family. Enjoy this call and until next time.....

NEWS!!! SendOutCards Receives the Mail Innovation Award by the United States Postal Service

On April 2, 2012, SendOutCards was awarded the Mail Innovation Award by the United States Postal Service at the National Postal Forum in Orlando, Florida.

According to the United States Postal Service, this award is given to postal customers who have demonstrated creativity in the use of the mail to drive significant business results and mail growth.

This award comes after SendOutCards spent over four years working with its customer base, its distributor base and the United States Postal Service to create a new first-class postage piece called picture postage. As the largest consumer of first-class postage in the United States, SendOutCards was chosen by the postal service as the first to ever use this innovative postage.

“SendOutCards is proud to have received this award,” said SendOutCards Chief Operating Officer Sam Robinson. “We’ve invested years of meticulous time and energy to find ways to further help our customers and distributors touch the lives of millions more people. It’s a great feeling to have accomplished that and to be recognized for it with this great award.”

SendOutCards successfully launched picture postage earlier this year, decreasing mail delivery times and opening the door to future tracking systems that will follow every card from the production line to the mail box.

“The Mail Innovation Award is another example of how we are focused on our mission to help millions of people act on their promptings and provide a vehicle for financial success,” said SendOutCards Founder and CEO Kody Bateman.

Congrats Kody and the SendOutCards Team. I am honored to be a distributor for your company!! www.sendoutcards.com/connectiondiva

Learn from a Network Marketing Master, Brian Cook

Today, I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Brian P. Cook who is an Executive-level Network Marketing Professional. More importantly, today I met and got to know a new dear friend.

Things I am taking away from today's call:
1. Help and serve other people genuinely. If this is the state of your heart, then this is what will show up in your life. Brian showcases this wonderfully. Thanks for your dedication and service as a former police officer Brian!
2. Get some of that "Ignorance On Fire" (IOF)!!! I so agree. If only we could get out of own ways and get some of that. As you listen to Brian talk you might be thinking, "I want what he is having!"
3. Just a note, someone showed Brian SOC but did not get back to him on a simple question. Remember be masters of follow-up!! As Jordan Adler says it, don't start and stop again over and over and over again.
4. This is easy. In some Network Marketing Companies, they require a HUGE auto ship and you almost have to "encourage" people to stick to it. Ours is simple $31/mo for 50 cards. : )
5. Master the ability to get people to do what you want. "How" you are wondering! Be a person of your word, hold people accountable and listen to what they want. Play with those that choose to intentionally engage.
6. Find your why! As I write this, I am sending up a virtual hug to the late Shawn Cook, Brian's brother who drown at age 16. I can feel your love Brian and can see how this could change a person forever. Thanks for taking this tragic thing and doing good with it now. Kris Bateman would be proud of you!
7. Share this with everyone! Enough said.
8. Burn your ships! I am sure this message was for me personally but it is a great strategy to become laser focused.
9. Ask for referrals and call them. Thank goodness Brian did this as our own amazing Kim and Dave Welch are here because of Topher's referral to Brian. Yeah!
10. Never give up. Even when you want to quit - don't!
11. Remember they are NOT rejecting you - they just do not want your stuff YET.
12. Get to know your business builders and make them life-long friends. Make it be about THEM and not about you. Help them create life-changing stories that will engage others.
13. Be a great coach - and hold people accountable.
14. Be duplicatable!!
15. It is NOT about YOU! Give that up and live your life for others.

This was by far one of my favorite interviews ever. Listen, re-listen, share, take notes and then get in massive action.

Until next time (2 weeks) - Be Eagles
Michele
